Roy Cutter

Therapist

Roy is from Maryland. He left home to serve in the United States Marine Corps. Much of his time in the Marines was spent in Arizona. Roy left the Marines after being stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and spent several years in the Winston-Salem area to pursue educational opportunities in fine arts, as well as advertising and graphic design. Roy returned to Arizona in 2012 and began studying psychology shortly after that at Northern Arizona University. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapies from Ottawa University.

Roy found that studying and making art was a life changing, and likely life saving, endeavor. He enjoys sharing this gift with others. Roy has experience in facilitating expressive arts groups and individual counseling. He is experienced in working with trauma, substance use, and codependency. Roy is trained in Pia Mellody’s PIT model for Codependency.
