Born and raised in the Philippines, Liza developed a love for cooking at an early age, inspired by her father’s passion for cooking and her mother’s love of baking. Although she earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce Management with a major in Accounting, she soon realized her true calling was in the kitchen. After immigrating to the United States in 2003, she pursued her culinary passion and graduated from culinary school in 2013.
She enjoys creating fresh, flavorful meals using seasonal ingredients and drawing inspiration from cuisines around the world. Her greatest joy is introducing clients to new flavors while preparing nourishing meals that support their health and recovery. She is proud to be part of the Soberman’s Estate team, where she can make a meaningful difference through food.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking traditional Filipino treats, gardening, and spending time with her two parrots and her beloved dogs, Chanel and Marco.
