At Soberman’s Estate, recovery doesn’t end when residential treatment does. It evolves. It deepens. And sometimes, it brings men back to the very place where their healing began.
That’s the spirit and intention behind our Monthly Alumni Dinner, held on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. These evenings are more than just a meal—they’re a homecoming. A space where past clients return to reconnect, reflect, and rekindle the strength of brotherhood forged through shared experience.
Each dinner features a delicious, chef-prepared meal and an inspiring message from one of our own alumni. These speakers share real, personal stories of what recovery looks like after Soberman’s—highlighting the challenges, the growth, and the unexpected moments of clarity that can emerge with time.
And the response has been powerful. This past month, the Alumni raved about the dinner with everyone agreeing it was a 5-star meal, that included shrimp and grilled chicken kabobs and panna cotta for dessert. They all enjoyed hearing from one of our alumni as the guest speaker.
Over the past two months alone, we’ve seen men return who hadn’t stepped foot on the property in four years. They came back not just for the food—but for the connection. They came to see familiar faces, meet new ones, to give and receive encouragement, and to remember that they are not alone on this journey.
These gatherings are a testament to the strength of our alumni community and the enduring impact of the Soberman’s Estate experience. When men gather around the table again—sober, grounded, and honest—it creates a ripple effect of support that reaches far beyond our campus.
Whether you're newly out of treatment or years into your recovery, you are always welcome here. Because healing isn’t linear. It's layered, lived, and made stronger through connection.
If you’re an alumnus, consider this your invitation to join us at the next Alumni Dinner. Reconnect. Reclaim your seat at the table. And be reminded of the strength that continues to live in you—and all around you.
