This morning, I found myself watching our new baby sulcata tortoises at Soberman's Estate. There is something almost impossible not to feel when you look at something so tiny and new, just beginning its life. Maybe I was a little more sentimental than usual because I had also just received some wonderful news: our family will be welcoming a new granddaughter in March.
